I unlocked snake. Just play Shadow Moses Island like a dozen times and he'll come.
Oh and Stage Builder is the greatest thing ever. I've built arena's that have one tiny opening where you can exit. It's crazy watching people bounce off the roof at 300% damage.

Snake just looks old because he's a clone of Big Boss and that messed up his appearance. Besides, Lucario's attacks end so slow.
